God perfectly knows all things, whether they be actual or possible, past, present, and future.

God's perfect knowledge

Job 37:14-16

Hear this, O Job;
    stop and consider the wondrous works of God.
15 Do you know how God lays his command upon them
    and causes the lightning of his cloud to shine?

16 Do you know the balancings of the clouds,
    the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?

God's infinite knowledge

Psalm 147:5 Great is our Lord, and abundant in power;
    his understanding is beyond measure.

​

All things are known to God.

Psalm 139:1-6 O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
    you discern my thoughts from afar.
3 You search out my path and my lying down
    and are acquainted with all my ways.
4 Even before a word is on my tongue,
    behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.
5 You hem me in, behind and before,
    and lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
    it is high; I cannot attain it.

Comfort: God knows the worst about you and still loves you.

Comfort: God knows the problems you face. He will provide the way of escape.
